I highly recommend this psychiatrist. I am using her as my doctor for prescription management. She spent more than the time scheduled to talk to me to get to know me and to understand everything going on. I highly recommend her if you want for someone just to talk to or for medication management.

I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you want a provider who listens and respects your role in treatment decisions. I came in because my current medication wasn’t working. I was open about my alcohol use disorder in hopes of finding a safe and effective alternative. I never requested or suggested a controlled substance—the provider, fully aware of my history, introduced and prescribed one I had never heard of. Instead, I found a higher dose of the same ineffective medication I came in to change waiting at the pharmacy. She later acted as if the controlled substance had never been discussed, using my history—and inaccurately framing another condition I disclosed—as reasons to walk back her own recommendation. The front desk staff was lovely and attentive, but the care I received felt dismissive of my recovery and left me feeling discredited and gaslit.
