It went great she was a great listener and was able to prescribe me the right medication that should help me

She never showed up for the appt at 9pm. I waited all day and night and never heard from her!

She asked me a lot of checklist questions and didn't even bother to listen to how I felt.

From the first second, Dr. Onua talked to me as if she were talking to a wall. She showed no warmth and no eye contact. She only asked question after question, reading from a list. The worst part was that she was YAWNING THE ENTIRE APP, and looking around the room. People came in and out, and sometimes she did not even ask me to wait. She just started talking to others in her place while I was trying to speak. The camera only showed part of her face, so you cannot see the provider clearly. I stayed because I need my medications, but I left feeling even worse. It is not fair that people like me, who are traumatized and dealing with mental health issues, have to go through this just because we need medication. Later, I checked here in ZocDoc to read reviews about this provider, and I saw that her rating is 3.7. Many other people complained about the same things I experienced (yawing all the time, distracted, cold, no empathy, no warmth at all...). Not fair!

The doctor I scheduled with was not available and I was asked if I wanted to reschedule or see a different doctor around the same time. I elected to see a different doctor around the same time, Dr. Edith Onua. Unfortunately she was yawning the entire time, it happens, but also seemed to fully fall asleep twice, and sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy.

Do NOT book with Orenda Psychiatry providers! This one stopped our session to answer a personal phone call!!! She ate dinner throughout the entire session and loudly! At one point, she scraped the bowl to scoop up more food, and she talked while chewing. I'm trying to be vulnerable about my trauma I wasn't taken seriously at all. Which brings me to another complaint: this was the worst psychiatric evaluation I've ever experienced. She was clearly reading off a screen the entire time. Nothing was personalized and I wasn't asked to explain any of my answers. At one point, I tried to answer with nuance and she said, "There's only a yes or no answer option." I learned nothing new and I didn't accomplish more than I would've from a simple PCP visit. Waste of time and money. I've locked my card and requested to speak with management, though I doubt I'll hear back as they only contacted me to get my card information and didn't respond to any of my questions beforehand.

She was absolutely amazing. I’ve had horrible luck with therapist lately and coming to her, I feel like someone finally heard my problems. Although she isn’t a therapist or counselor, she gave me better advice than most. I felt safe, seen and heard.
