OK, Royston Ogbuagu was my first experience using Zocdoc, and it was an extremely impressive one.
I don't know what the future holds with Mr. Ogbuagu, but as for the initial consultation, he was extremely thorough, insightful, polite, and professional in terms of taking and reiterating critical comments from me about my background, history of mental-health treatment, and medications.
In terms of medication management, Mr. Ogbuagu was knowledgeable and conservative in his approach to treatment. I intent to have ongoing sessions with him and will update this review should anything change. ”

His desire to provide optimal psychiatric services for all stages of life has motivated him to engage with diverse client age populations and work in various settings, including residential treatment facilities, community/Assertive Community Treatment, inpatient, and outpatient environments. Royston is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with multiple undergraduate degrees in various fields, including nursing. He earned an advanced practice nursing degree from CUNY Hunter College, where his passion for psychiatry was discovered during humble beginnings volunteering at a renowned statewide treatment facility in New York. Additionally, Royston holds a Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the Silberman School of Social Work, further enhancing his expertise in the field.
