About Dr. Alpesh Shah
I find it most rewarding to utilize my training and experience to help patients return to full, active lives and to teach aspiring doctors to do the same.
Alpesh Shah, M.D., earned his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He completed an internship in General Surgery and a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark. Dr. Shah is board-certified in orthopedic sports medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He has a special interest in sports injuries, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and fractures.

Dr. Shah is treating my right shoulder. I was very nervous, but he was very calming and understanding. Gave me all my options said we would talk again. He didn’t want rush me into anything. I had an injection for pain and set up physical therapy appointment. I’ll see the doctor again in a month.

Dr Shah is knowledgeable and thorough. I have seen him a handful of times now for other shoulder issues and treatments. Great bedside manner, soft spoken and detail oriented. He noticed I saw him in a further office this time (needed the appointment asap) and made sure that I book my follow up in the office closer to me.
He listens during exams and he always discusses treatment options with me, never rushes nor recommends a treatment option for his convenience.
