Dr. Daniela White received her medical degree from Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Carol Davila Facultatea de Medicina. She completed her residency in general psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the same institution.
Her private practice, started in 2002, is currently outpatient-based and provides appropriate care grounded in modern psychopharmacology within a relaxed and welcoming environment. Although primarily oriented toward treating mental disorders with psychotropic medications, she firmly believes in the healing aspect of psychotherapy. Therefore, she collaborates with other mental health professionals in the community to provide comprehensive treatment that includes individual, couple, and group therapy.
As of February 2011, Dr. White became one of the 300 national providers of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) with the opening of the Midtown TMS center. Ron Riley, LP - TMS Coordinator, has also joined the team. Ron Riley is a licensed paramedic with over 19 years of experience in the Houston area. He has teamed with Dr. White to provide patients not only with state-of-the-art TMS therapy but also to improve the overall quality of treatment through awareness, education, and compassion.
Dr. White and her staff strive to make patients feel comfortable from the moment they step into the office and work to initiate care as quickly as possible. Phone calls are returned promptly, and coordination of care is maintained with other providers involved in the patient's treatment.

Typing during discussion, not listening, asked same questions a few times and still said the wrong answer to repeat back what I said. Did not feel like I was cared about.

Dr. White and her psychiatric nurses, and really all of her staff, are some of the most amazing professionals in the field. I have had my fair share of psychiatrists who clearly push adhd drugs so they can get a kickback from the pharmaceutical companies. Dr. White proceeds with caution when prescribing medications and makes sure that the patient is suited for the drug. She will not prescribe controlled substances to patients if they are going through substance abuse issues. She is thorough and conducts drug tests to help keep her patients accountable. She does not judge or shame her patients for their struggles and treats her patients with dignity. I did Neurostar TMS with her, and it improved my wellbeing so much. The nurses are professional and compassionate. I have had psychiatrists who continued to keep me on high doses of drugs that can cause weight loss even after I became severely underweight in middle school. Dr. White is by far the best psychiatrist I have had. She is not afraid to tell you how it is, and keep her patients accountable for their maintaining their recovery. After all, you cannot recover with medicine alone. Psychiatric medicine is not a cure, it is a stepping stone, to get you into a chemically stable mindset, so that you become more capable tp work on your own health. Great doctor. 10/10 recommend. If you don’t want to be faced with the hard truth, find another doctor.

The staff was nice. There was a mix up with my appointment time, so they squeezed me in last. Dr. White was easy to talk to and friendly.

Dr. White was very open, attentive, and thorough. Spent less than 5 minutes in her waiting room. She respected my wishes throughout each appointment. A good psychiatrist is difficult to come by, and so I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Front staff is not professional

She was good and very nice but seemed rush. But heard everything I had to say and asked a lot of questions. Not there to hear your problems though, just your symptoms. Office staff is ok, not the friendliest but not rude either.

She is very professional yet easy to talk to. Her office is organized and inviting The paperwork took about ten minutes. She takes all credit cards for your co-pay which is convenient. I was very impressed with the whole experience and glad I am going to her now.

Dr. White gave me a few sheets of paper with quizzes on each. I took the quizzes while she was texting (or something) on her cell phone. That's how she determined my diagnosis. She hardly talked with me at all. I expected so much more. Especially for the price... I wouldn't recommend her.
