About Dr. Emily Citro Odeh

A Houston native, Dr. Citro Odeh, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT has over 10 years of experience in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. Dr. Citro earned her bachelor's degree in Health & Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma where she was the head cheerleader, before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Womans University. Specializing in orthopedics and manual therapy, Dr. Odeh then spent the next three years completing her fellowship from the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Working with individuals of all walks of life, Dr. Citro Odeh has helped thousands of individuals here in the DFW area through her specialty in post operative care and orthopedic injury rehabilitation / prevention. Dr. Citro Odeh is also the provider of choice for many of the biggest names in professional sports as athletes from all over the country travel to work with her during their respective off-season's - or to get them back onto the field should they get hurt. Whether you suffered a recent injury or deal with chronic nagging pains, Dr. Odeh will diagnose and treat your ailment to help relieve your pain and get you back into the game as quickly as possible - all while reducing your risk of reinjury. Dr. Citro Odeh prides herself on giving back to the profession through teaching and continuing education. Dr. Odeh is currently a faculty member of the Institute for Athlete Regeneration and is a clinical instructor for undergraduate physical therapy students. Previous teams and experience include Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, NFL, NBA, FIFA, and USA Gymnastics to name a few. Emily is awesome. I saw another PT for weeks with no results but in just ten days Emily has made a significant difference. The whole staff there is awesome and I genuinely enjoy going to PT. It's something that I used to dread but now look forward to.
A friend recommended me to Emily Citro when I had a ruptured disc in my neck. I met with a doctor who recommended surgery, but I didn’t want to go that route. I had several sessions of physical therapy with Emily, and she was able to strengthen my neck and upper muscles in my back to the point where surgery was no longer necessary. I haven’t had any issues since and I owe it all to her.
I went to see Emily when I hurt my back. She showed me several exercises to strengthen my core and prevent me from future injuries. She’s the best in the game and I recommend her to everyone now. She saved me!
