“Every staff member that I came in contact with at this office was pleasant, friendly and efficient! We had our paperwork filled out that was sent to us prior to our appointment. The wait was minimal. ?This provider has the most kind bedside manner! She listens and was so thorough and answered questions. Even my teenager said afterwards, that she was the first provider to ever make consistent eye contact with her while listening and explaining treatment. She and her assistants were all so kind, they made my anxious teen feel at ease right away!”

About Laurel Lan
Laurel is a native of the DC metro area, having grown up in MD. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in human biology from Brigham Young University and was recognized with the College of Biology Academic Achievement Scholarship. Laurel then completed her Master's degree from the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program graduating with the highest honors leading to induction into the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Following her graduate program, Laurel returned to George Washington University in their Medical Faculty Associates to formally specialize in dermatology. Laurel joined Semler Dermatology in 2017 bringing over 13 years of dermatological experience in both hospital and private practice settings. In her spare time, Laurel enjoys running, volunteering with local organizations, and spending time with her husband, three children, and her Corgi.

Laurel Lan PA-C was phenomenal. She was warm, friendly, professional and very knowledgeable! She listened and answered all questions, the nurses were nice and friendly, and the front desk staff were very pleasant. The office was clean, my concerns were addressed and I didn’t feel rushed.
