“When it comes to pain from joint and muscle pain a rheumatologist is the way to go. This physician is good natured, and patient. He's thoughtful when discussing your other medications and will discuss vitamin therapy. I'm in pain much of the time but always feel better when I've seen Dr. Sohn. He's got a wonderful disposition. ”

Dr. Bret Sohn is a rheumatologist who specializes in all aspects of rheumatology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Dr. Sohn further honed his expertise through a fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He prioritizes careful listening and intricate detective work to help patients understand and better treat their ailments. Dr. Sohn views each patient as an individual, not just a diagnosis, and treats every patient as if they were a member of his own family. He has a special interest in educating future physicians through mentoring medical students and residents. Previously, he served as the associate medical director for quality at a New York City teaching practice and earned the Fellow’s Teaching Award for his efforts guiding others during his rheumatology training.
