About Dr. Corinne VanBeek

Dr. VanBeek is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow care. She is an expert in non-operative, operative, and injection-based treatments for joint preservation and injury recovery, including biologics such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). She was extensively trained in managing complex shoulder injuries, including rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability as well as advanced arthritis. She reconstructs shoulders using anatomic and reverse shoulder replacements with patient specific instrumentation and computer navigation.
Dr. VanBeek was born in NYC and raised in NY. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College, Columbia University. She completed her medical training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Society. Following graduation, she completed her rigorous orthopedic surgery residency at Columbia University in NYC. She advanced her knowledge and surgical skill during her shoulder and elbow fellowship at the distinguished Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. VanBeek serves patients in lower Fairfield County and beyond with offices in Stamford and Wilton, CT. She enjoys a close collaboration with her patients through shared decision making and direct communication. Both recreational and elite athletes seek care with Dr.VanBeek, as do aging seniors looking to improve their quality of life with pain relief and restoration of function.

Front desk mixed up my appointment time. Although I paid to see an orthopedic specialist, I only saw the PA; Dr. VanBeek literally only poked her head in the room for a few seconds at the end of my visit.

Very Nice , refreshing and personable personality of Dr. VanBeek and her immediate assistant also very nice and personable. We had only a small routine matter to discuss. The intermediate x-ray organizer lady nice too. But Front desk was chewing gum and less impressive, tuned out.

I was in a great deal of pain and was surprised that it could remedied within the office visit. The professionalism of each one of the staff I encountered was excellent and did not go unnoticed! Both the Dr and her PA listened to my woes and explained everything by use of a chart and the on site X-ray. Several hours have passed and I already feel much better.
