About Dr. Warren D. Spinner

Dr. Warren Daniel Spinner earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Neurology at Stony Brook University Medical Center, where he also pursued a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. He continued his training with additional specialization in Sleep Medicine. Initially embarking on a career in academic medicine, Dr. Spinner taught medical students, residents, and fellows at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine. In 2014, after many years of clinical and academic practice, Dr. Spinner founded True North Neurology with the goal of delivering personalized and high-quality patient care. He believes that providing comprehensive care through an integrated medical approach achieves the best results. Dr. Spinner holds Board Certifications in Neurology, Neurophysiology, Sleep Medicine, Headache Medicine, and Internal Medicine. He specializes in General Neurology, Headache, Sleep Medicine, and Brain Injury Medicine, seeing patients at our Port Jefferson Station and Shirley locations.

Directly calling the office for an appointment is a bad idea. That staff is abrupt. The team in person on appointment day was delightful.
