Find a physician who will listen to you. Dr. Gayle's bedside manner gave me an old-school approach. I'm happy with my choice with him being my new PCP.

Meh I wasn’t impressed for a few reasons. Maybe it was an off day for him, no one is perfect, but it was just ok. His bedside manner could use some work, I didn’t feel heard and kinda rushed. After my labs they didn’t even contact me to discuss the results (that required discussing) and there was no discussion of what to do next to improve my health. He did leave some notes with the results (patient is X) but again no discussion of how to move forward or treat the issue found from the labs. I’m taking the results somewhere else and continuing my care elsewhere. The nurse who took my blood was great though!

I’m new to the U.S. and searching for a Primary Care Doctor for myself and my partner. My first visit with Dr. Kristoff Gayle was a trial, and I was happy. He listens attentively, takes time to discuss concerns, and doesn't make me feel rushed. Dr. Gayle has a pleasant demeanor and excellent bedside manner.
I’ve since returned for two additional visits. I take notes and ask many questions, and he always takes the time to respond thoughtfully or look up information when needed. It’s important to feel a connection with your doctor, and I feel that with Dr. Gayle.
