About Amanda Rutherford

I finally found a medical office I love. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, every person is friendly, professional and understanding. Amanda Rutherford is wonderful! She listens and makes me feel so comfortable! She takes the time to answer every question thoroughly. She explains results of any tests and talks through her plan of action together with me.

Amanda was amazing! The entire staff at Valley Medical were incredible. They are all so friendly and helpful. I have trouble giving blood and they were so accommodating. About 7 people came to help me and yelled at me for apologizing. I actually can’t recommend this office enough!

Amanda and the other medical staff were kind. My only complaint was the wait at the beginning. It took 30 minutes to get into a room and then after vitals were taken it was another 20 minutes before I saw Amanda.

From start to finish I was very pleased. I had never been to a “grown up” doctor; only a pediatrician. I was nervous that an adult doctor wouldn’t give me as much love and care as a child doctor.
I was so wrong! Everything was so perfect. I did not have to wait, every staff member listened well, the office was clean, ect.
The CMA wrote down everything that I told her so that the doctor could review it. And when Amanda came in just a short while later, I could tell she had read my chart because she already knew some of the basics. We went over my medical history, my medications, my expectations of the appt, ect.
She did not rush at all, in fact, she spent 45 minutes with me just going over everything. She assured me to ask any questions. She was unsure of an interaction with a medication, so before being a cocky doctor, she has looked it up after i left. She called me just a half hour later explaining what she found. I’m so happy with her!

Amanda, the nurse practitione, was great. I wasn't happy that I had to wait 25 minutes to get my Shingles vaccine though. That seemed excessive.
