About Insoo Om
Insoo is a registered dermatological physician assistant with a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University. He has worked in the fields of Dermatology, HIV Medicine, and Infectious Diseases for over 25 years and has been involved in several clinical investigations of early HIV medications at St. Clare's Hospital in New York. He has served patients across all boroughs, caring for families from the first through fourth generation.

The waiting to be seen was the only issue but that’s a me problem because once I was being taken care of, the waiting didn’t matter anymore. I felt heard and secure I was being well taken care of. Great staff and great doctor. Excited for my follow up appointments.

Second time I've visited during global pandemic to see doc entering patient rooms unmasked and coughing during my visit. This is unacceptable and highly worrying, as they clearly overbook every single day and do not honor appointment times. Patients are always waiting upwards of two hours past appointment times to be seen.

my whole experience with them was lovely dr insoom is a gem you can tell he really loves what he do you can tell he is genuine and cares about his patients he is very informative, knowledgeable, experienced, patient and great listener, any questions you have he's ready and eager to answer this man is awesome I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I would advice to have patience because the waiting is long but it's worth it trust me. I'm going back in two weeks can't wait and im bringing my three year old to see him.

The office was quite busy when I arrived and I had to wait about an hour before I was able to be seen. However, there were no issues with billing or anything like that. Insoo Om's care was wonderful. Even though the office was busy I felt my issues were really heard. I was given a care plan for my personal situation and clear instructions on what to do next. Overall I would go back again despite the wait.

Not a great experience if you are a first-time patient. The front desk staff is not welcoming and look like they want to be there. They do not wear masks nor do they enforce mask-wearing. I arrived early for an 11am appointment and after a 1 hour wait the front desk asked for my insurance card at which point I was told 10 PATIENTS were still AHEAD of me. I reschedule and leave. At my next appointment, I only stayed for what was a 2.5 hr visit because it was after work hours. The PA seems knowledgable/straight forward/slightly condescending but it could be because he was frustrated/tired.

the wait was pretty long but that's because they sooo booked and busy but once I got in he knew exactly what my problem was and immediately prescribed me some medication for my skin I've had me years ago and I told him and its funny because what I have now he told me about it years ago so he knows his stuff awesome man!

Om was very friendly and helped explain what’s going on. Very clear communication and friendly help. However the office itself is a mess. Many receptionists were not wearing masks and the waiting room was packed. I couldn’t even have a seat when I first arrived. Normally I wouldn’t complain but I waited 2.5 hrs after my appointment before being seen. I would recommend a visit early in the morning if you can as Om is a good physician, he just has a lot of patients.

I think that Dr Om is knowledgeable regarding dermatology and has a nice personality and good bedside manner. He is helpful and listens to his patients.
The only problem is that I had to wait at least 60 minutes even with having a appointment and being on-time.
