About Dr. Julie Nicholson
Dr. Julie Nicholson is a board-certified family medicine physician. She joined Wellstar Primary Care at Woodpark Place in 2024. She is originally from Mississippi and earned her medical degree and completed her residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has made Georgia her new home and has loved getting to know her patients and their families. She takes great pride in treating her patients with respect and creating a comfortable environment for them to share their concerns with her. Her goal is to provide a stress-free experience that encourages patients to participate in shared decision making.

I switched doctors because at my old one I felt like she wasn’t concerned about my well being in terms of mental health and I didn’t feel comfortable but with Dr. Nicholson, she made me feel so seen and that is exactly what I was looking for. She truly cared for my health, not just physical but mentally. I highly recommend her especially if you are looking for a genuinely supportive doctor!!!

Dr. Nicholson was amazing. She was personable and listened to my needs. Everyone at the clinic was so friendly and inviting. I showed up early to my appointment and was checked in and seen before my appointment was supposed to actually start. I have no complaints. I would definitely visit again, this location is just so far from my house.
