How do I make an appointment and what happens next?
On Zocdoc, you can make appointments for yourself as well as for others whose care you may manage. Select the appointment time you’d like and follow the prompts to create an account or login to book your appointment instantly.
When you book, make sure to share your full legal name, date of birth, and sex as listed on your health insurance, medical records, and insurance information. (If you are booking an appointment for someone else, make sure their information also matches what appears on their insurance and medical documents.) This allows Zocdoc to create your appointment directly within the practice's calendar or EHR and helps verify your insurance coverage.
What happens next?
You will receive an email with your appointment details as well as appointment reminders to the email address on your account.
Zocdoc will also get in touch if the office needs more information, there’s an issue, or your appointment needs rescheduling, and the provider may reach out directly with additional instructions for your visit.
