How do I use guided search?

Guided search helps you more accurately describe your care needs to find the right doctor.

Updated over 2 years ago

Navigating the vast landscape of healthcare providers can be overwhelming. You want to find the right doctor who can address your specific needs, but where do you even begin? Guided search streamlines the process of finding the perfect provider for your unique healthcare needs. Simply answer a few questions to describe your symptoms or concerns, and guided search will present a tailored list of in-network doctors who are suited to address your specific concerns.

How does guided search work?

Guided search is designed to help you better describe your reason for visit to ensure you only see providers who can treat your needs. Guided search questions will appear if you search for a type of doctor or something general like a “consultation.” You will be presented with a few questions to help you narrow down the visit reason (i.e., symptom, condition, or procedure) that best describes your care needs. Search results will display only providers that can treat the visit reason you select.

You can always skip guided search questions by selecting the “Skip and show search results” button. However, specifying your visit reason can help ensure you only see a doctor who can treat your concerns in search results.
