We share details of our communication policies with patients when they book their appointments using their Zocdoc account, including when they book on our Marketplace, through our Book Online Button, or as part of one of our third-party partnerships, including Google.
If you send patient intake to patients who booked outside of Zocdoc—for example, patients who booked with your practice over the phone—you should let them know to expect a text message confirmation from Zocdoc. Here’s a sample script you can share with these patients:
