How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Updated over a week ago

You can cancel or reschedule your upcoming appointment in a few ways. You'll receive an email confirmation once your cancellation or reschedule is complete.

From your appointment confirmation email

Open the email confirmation you received when you booked your appointment. At the bottom of the email, click the Cancel or Reschedule Appointment link, then select Modify Visit.

On a computer (zocdoc.com)

Log into your Zocdoc account at zocdoc.com. Your upcoming appointment will appear on the homepage. Click Prepare for Appointment, then select Modify Visit to cancel or reschedule.

On the Zocdoc mobile app

Open the Zocdoc app and locate your upcoming appointment on the Home tab. Tap the appointment card itself to open your appointment details, then select Cancel or Reschedule. If you see a View Appointment Details button, you can tap that too. It will take you directly to the cancel or reschedule option.

If your appointment is more than 14 days away, it may not appear on the Home tab. In that case, go to the Appointments tab to find it.

Note: The Prepare for Appointment button is for completing intake tasks like uploading insurance and will not take you to the cancel or reschedule option.
