He listened to my concerns and promptly got me set up for a brain MRI and arranged for me to have an appointment with a specialist that was matched to my needs. Although he was not the right kind of neurologist for me, he listened attentively, offered an opinion and immediately rectified the situation by facilitating an MRI for my suspected condition and made an appointment for a few weeks later with a more appropriate provider. Andrew Faskowitz is a diligent and caring neurologist serving the communities of Middletown and Rock Hill, NY. Dr. Faskowitz attended the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his medical degree, and completed his internship in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He then completed his residency in neurology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and his fellowship in pain medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York, Stony Brook.

I originally had an in person visit scheduled and one of the staff reached out the morning of the appointment to see if I’d like to do a telehealth appointment instead. As I was just renewing my cannabis certification I agreed. Good choice! Not only did I not have to drive to Crystal Run, but Dr. Faskowitz called almost 15 mins. before my original appointment. In less then 5 mins. he was able to renew my certification, asked if I had any other issues I needed help with, and I was good to go for another year! If you’re having pain management issues, I highly recommend Dr. Faskowitz. At my first appointment he took the time to explain my options and how the process worked. He was very thorough and I never felt rushed.

Dr. Faskowitz is the only doctor I've seen who reviewed my information and was prepared to talk to me when he walked in the door. He didn't make me start from the beginning or make me beg and convince him to help me - he saw my conditions and knew I needed help. Dr. Faskowitz certainly 'did his homework' before my appointment. He was aware of my problem from a previous visit and had the results of a couple of tests I had done since then. He also had recommendations of specialists I should consider seeing.
