“Dr. Guy was a great listener! She listened to each of my concerns and offered great tips to treat my symptoms at home while still taking them seriously by providing referrals & ordering tests. It’s been 7 yrs since I moved to New York and I hadn’t found a provider that actually took the time to slow down and HEAR me! This has changed with Dr. Guy and I’m more than grateful! The team at reception and medical assistants/nurses are also great! Very welcoming, I never felt rushed by anyone which feels almost strange/rare for NYC but no complaints here, I appreciated it. I’ll be sticking with Dr. Guy as my PCP from now on :)”

Dr. Guy is excited to practice internal medicine in New York City at CareMount Medical. She brings a decade of experience in various practice settings, aims to help patients participate in decision-making about their own wellness and enjoys caring for patients from diverse ethnic, cultural, sexual minority and economic backgrounds. From motivating young adults to learning from the experiences of older adults, Dr. Guy values engaging with patients of all ages. Dr. Guy is board certified in internal medicine. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Howard University and Howard University College of Medicine, respectively, and completed her internal medicine residency at Howard University Hospital. With a keen interest in community wellness and preventive healthcare, she earned a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Guy is originally from the Caribbean island of St. Vincent. She attended high school in Manhattan before heading to the Maryland/Washington, DC area for college, medical school and graduate studies where she practiced medicine for 10 years. Now a resident of Brooklyn, she returned to the metropolitan area to be closer to family. In her spare time she enjoys audio books about the human condition and entertaining her dog Maya.
