What should a new client know about working with you?

I use a trauma-informed, relational approach that blends psycho-education with practical skill-building to help you understand how trauma affects the brain, body, and relationships. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, uncover patterns, and develop coping skills that support healing, resilience, and a deeper connection to your authentic self! Through a mix of insight and practical tools, my goal is to help you develop greater self-compassion, strengthen your sense of self-worth, and feel empowered in facing life’s ups and downs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, supportive, and down-to-earth environment where you’re encouraged to show up as yourself! I take a trauma-informed, relational approach, meaning our connection is at the center of the work we do together. A typical session often involves exploring what’s been coming up for you recently, noticing patterns, and identifying what feels most important to focus on that day. We might talk through emotions or experiences in a reflective way, practice grounding or coping strategies, or build insight into how past experiences may influence your present. My goal is for each session to feel collaborative and supportive, where you leave feeling heard, understood, and equipped with tools to continue your growth outside of therapy!
