Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

- Maintain and manage servers
- Administer Active Directory/Domain Controllers
- Strong knowledge on managing firewalls and networking
- Project work focusing on networking


Plus Help Desk responsibilities:

- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Research questions using available information resources
- Advise user on appropriate action
- Follow standard help desk procedures
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates
- Administer account setups & ? laptop builds


Education and Experience

- 5-6 years experience in a customer service role
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of software (such as Office, Windows), hardware (laptops, desktop and peripherals), and servers
- Bachelors degree a PLUS
