How do I turn off providers?

You can turn off select providers so that they are removed from Zocdoc search. Those providers will not receive any new patient bookings until you turn them back on. Other providers at your practice will continue receiving bookings and you will still be able to manage your spend for those providers.

To remove providers, click Performance in the top menu and then select Dashboard. Click “Manage spend" in the upper right and then select “Manage which providers can receive bookings.”

From here, turn the provider “off” by toggling the switch next to the provider’s name. You can also deselect specific locations, so that the provider does not receive bookings from all provider locations.

When the toggle turns gray, that means the provider is turned off and will be removed from search and will not receive any new patient bookings on the Zocdoc Marketplace. The provider can still receive existing patient bookings, as well as bookings through your Google Business Profile and the Book Online Button on your practice website.

To accept new patient bookings from Zocdoc Marketplace again, simply click on the toggle to green for the provider and click “Save.”

No. Removing providers from a Sponsored Results campaign or provider group only removes them from Sponsored Results advertising. Their profile remains active on the Zocdoc Marketplace. To fully remove a provider from your account, contact service.
