Zocdoc displays relevant providers who match their criteria. Patients can view providers profiles, reviews, photos, and availability.

Then patients book an available time that works for them.

Providers receive the booking, along with all the pre-appointment information they need. You can request insurance cards, IDs, and your office forms from patients before their appointment through Intake.

AI Care Assistant (in beta) is a new way for patients to search for a provider on Zocdoc. It lets patients express their care needs in their own words and maps what they search for to your provider settings, including accepted visit reasons, insurance, and availability. By making it easier for patients to describe what they need, AI Care Assistant helps surface more relevant results so they can find the right provider for their needs.

Zocdoc’s AI Care Assistant is a beta feature and it will continue to improve over time. It’s available to most users today, though some users may still see our classic search experience instead.

Zocdoc doesn’t charge any upfront costs or subscription fees. You pay only when a new patient books with you for the first time. This fee varies by specialty and location for each provider at your practice. Learn more about Zocdoc pricing.
