Like with other specialties, patients searching for mental health care want to find affordable care with a provider that can meet their needs. Zocdoc offers mental health providers the option to add additional details about pricing and payment options to their profile to set better expectations with patients up-front.
In addition to listing any insurances they’re in-network with on their profiles, Mental Health providers can also add:
Out-of-pocket pricing for initial and ongoing sessions
Other assistance you offer such as a sliding scale or filing an insurance claim on the patient’s behalf
To update this information, select the Providers tab and then the Provider Name you want to update. Find the Insurance and out-of-pocket prices section, and select edit.
