Laurent Crenshaw is Vice President of Government Affairs at Zocdoc, where he leads the company’s federal, state, and local policy strategy. In this role, Laurent oversees legislative and regulatory engagement, coalition building, and external affairs efforts that expand patient access, protect choice, and support Zocdoc’s role as healthcare access infrastructure.
Before joining Zocdoc, Laurent was the Fund Lead and helped launch the Recoding America Fund. He also served as Senior Director of Policy and External Affairs at Patreon, where he led policy development and government strategy on behalf of the creator economy. Earlier, he held senior policy roles at Eaze and Yelp, advancing solutions at the intersection of technology, consumers, and regulation.
Laurent previously spent more than a decade on Capitol Hill in senior House and Senate roles focused on digital platforms, intellectual property, and telecommunications issues. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University and a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Nikki, and their family.
