The Dr is awesome. Finding a patient and understanding provider for mental health is stressful and you must be vulnerable. The Dr was very flexible and attentive to my needs. Also diligent about follow up. Would recommend for those living with anxiety.

I chose Dr. Assefaw after scouring multiple reviews here on Zocdoc and am now happy and relieved to add my own good review to the others. I find her to be humane, insightful, and inspirational in a low-key but authentic way--as in, I sense her sincerely rooting for my progress and not just going through the motions to get paid. Her experience in considering the benefits or costs of specific medications and treatments runs deep, and that shows. But I also value that she's deeply attuned to wholistic and non-pharmacological approaches to crises, including exercise and diet. I'm grateful to previous Zocdoc users for directing me to her, and I look forward to seeing her again.
