Welcome and thanks for visiting our site. Our chiropractic clinic strives to earn the trust of our patients by providing them with a modern, individualized
approach to chiropractic care. Most of our patients find our office through referrals from other patients or from their medical doctors. They typically either live or work in Ballard or one of its surrounding communities – Greenwood, Magnolia, and Queen Anne.
Patients respond most positively to our care when they are willing to be active participants in their own rehabilitation. However, first we have to consult with and evaluate a patient to confirm that chiropractic treatment is an appropriate choice for their condition. It is only then that the most appropriate clinical therapies and approaches are recommended for that individual to address their issues in most effective and direct fashion. Patients are taught about the anatomy of their condition. This allows them to understand why certain home exercises, postural modifications or nutritional supplements may have been recommended for them to support the chiropractic adjustments they receive in our office. Motivation for altering or adding behaviors matters because the old adage of bad habits being hard to break is true. Replacing poor postures and activity choices with with better options is much easier for patients when they understand the reasons why.
Chiropractic care is a natural approach to treating a variety of common conditions without the use of drugs or surgery. Essentially, it is an approach that allows the body’s to use its own natural healing abilities. As of March, 2018, I have been practicing in Seattle’s beautiful and historic Ballard neighborhood for 24 years. Our chiropractic office is located just 1 block North of Market St. between 15th and 17th Aves. NW. Our services are readily available for individuals looking for a natural, drugless approach to a variety of common health conditions and injuries.
For one reason or another, many people have never had the opportunity to experience the benefits of having a chiropractor in their healthcare toolbox. As such, many people wonder when, and for what conditions, chiropractic care would be an appropriate avenue for them to pursue. I am happy to have a phone conversation with anyone trying to determine if chiropractic care is a viable treatment option for their particular condition. Please just give our office a call and we will set up a mutually convenient time to talk.
Our primary purpose is to help people achieve a greater level of health by helping them move better and feel better. Our personalized approach to treating patients often combines safe, gentle chiropractic adjustments with targeted stretches, exercises, postural advice, and nutritional recommendations. We treat a variety of common health conditions and have helped a wide variety of people achieve relief from back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica (leg soreness or pain) and arm symptoms. Gaining a better understanding the anatomy of one’s condition, improving strength, increasing flexibility, and bettering one’s posture are all elements commonly incorporated into most of our patients’ treatment plans.
Back and neck rehabilitation programs are commonly called for when people have been injured in automobile accidents or at work. Chiropractors are an excellent healthcare provider choice for many of these soft tissue injuries because not only are they specialists in treating these kinds of soft tissue injuries, they are also ready and willing to work with, or refer to, massage therapists, physical therapists, radiology services, or medical doctors as it is called for.
We are preferred or participating provider on most health insurance plans including: Regence (Blue Shield), Premera (Blue Cross), Lifewise, Aetna, Uniform, First Choice, CIGNA, UnitedHealthcare, Uniform Medical, Washington State Dept. of Labor and Industries (L&I) amongst others. Automobile Insurance covers chiropractic care for injuries sustained in auto accidents without a referral required from a medical doctor. In fact, in most instance, a referral from your medical doctor is not required to initiate treatment from a chiropractor.
Setting up an appointment time is the simple first step.
