It is not uncommon to find yourself stressed and overwhelmed. You might be worried about your career, struggling in your relationship, feeling lonely, or just feeling stuck. When encountering such difficulties, people often come to therapy to change and grow. My philosophy is to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, understanding, and acceptance. I work from a strength-based approach to help you build on your existing strengths while also learning new ways of thinking and behaving. We will focus on the present and explore your past to understand how you came to be who you are today. Together, we will explore your beliefs and feelings through analysis of the mind and body. I believe that much of our emotional problems are found and expressed in the body. When we are more in connection with our bodies, we can express long held emotions that lead to relief and change. I aim not just to help you heal, but to facilitate self-awareness, aliveness, and a deeper connection to yourself and others.
