Spring Street Dermatology
At Spring Street Dermatology, the philosophy is simple: help patients achieve healthy, beautiful skin with the expertise, environment, and experience that we would want for ourselves and our families. Our 5 core beliefs:
1. Every single person should have a thorough, full skin physical examination at least once a year. Early detection of skin cancer can be life saving and it is our job to make sure our patients are appropriately screened.
2. The doctor-patient relationship should be personal as well as professional. We will always take the time to get to know you, understand your goals and concerns, and make sure that every question you have is answered. A personalized approach to patient care not only makes for better medicine, but it makes being a doctor a lot more fun.
3. We understand that everyone’s time is valuable. Therefore, though we put in a lot of time and effort into making it a wonderful place, there should be minimal waiting in our waiting room. We are dedicated to honoring appointment times on time.
4. A doctor’s office should be a place that is serene and streamlined. We have accomplished this with a few very simple key elements: a beautifully decorated space; a convenient location; a staff that serves with a smile and is always helpful; an entirely paperless electronic charting system.
5. We believe that every patient should be 100% satisfied at every visit and we will do everything in our power to make sure this is the case.

Joey Pang is just amazing, professional, precise, have been going to her regularly for 10 years for skin cancer screening and for other concerns, medical or cosmetic, and she never disappoints! i always recommend her to family and friends-- the place itself is great, very clean, and the wait is never long ! Not to mention the perfect , easy location in Manhattan..

I know people have positive experiences here for cosmetic dermatology but I would never set foot in here again for any medical dermatology. This provider clearly had only the most cursory understanding of hair issues. She seemed rushed and barely listening. She recommended products I was allergic to -- after I'd told her repeatedly about an allergy. She gave me incorrect information about a prescription I have been on for years, and generally seemed to be totally uninterested in a dialogue versus just sharing hair care 101 tips. This appointment was unfortunately a waste of time.

The appt felt very rushed from the start. The assistant who came in asked questions so fast and didn't even fully wait to hear my answers and then was picking up a mirror and staring at her face in it -- very weird and unprofessional. Similarly, the provider walked in didn't introduce herself, came in with two people who just stood behind me the whole time who she didn't introduce me. It felt like they just wanted to get through the appointment as fast as possible and only talk about one issue vs a comprehensive appointment. Very different from other experiences I've had with derms in the city. The office itself was nice.

Joey Pang was very knowledgeable and knew immediately what my rash was and how to treat it. Gave me treatment and it was called into my pharmacy as soon as I left the office. Was seen on time and she offered I follow up with her via the portal or in person if I didn't seen an improvement in a certain timeframe. Highly recommend.

Excellent service! I had a full body check for moles (possible skin cancer). Thank goodness there was none. Ms. Pang examined all 9 moles within 6 minutes. She knows her stuff!

The most important thing is the doctor knows what she is doing [competent]. You can sometimes tell by the way she answers your questions. PA Pang took care of my skin tag and mole problems. The whole procedure went smoothly. She has a lot of experience is this area. I highly recommend her.

I really like Joey. She wrote out a clear treatment plan and provided me with a lot of samples to try. I’m a bit unclear why my prescription needed to go through a specialty pharmacy and not my usual CVS but it’s fine. After some searching, I’m glad to have found my new derm in NYC

Joey is incredibly friendly and warm and was very knowledgeable about all things skin! I came to see her with concerns of acne and eczema that have gotten progressively worse over the past few months. Joey listened to my concerns and genuinely wanted to help. She wrote out a skincare routine for me with a new retinoid along with some over the counter cleansers and moisturizers that she recommended. Joey also provided a few samples so i could get started right away. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Joey and would highly recommend her to anyone with acne or eczema like me.
