Some people find themselves caught up in a constant cycle of anxiety and stress. Many times it looks like they have it together from the outside but inside they are just holding it together with band-aids. What you would notice could include excessive worrying, change in sleep, drinking or eating patterns, restlessness, and hopelessness. Sometimes it even causes problems at work or with relationships. However it presents, it is very painful. I would like to help you to take the edge off of the anxiety or sadness in your life, provide you with better ways to cope , eliminate unhealthy patterns, and help you to feel like you are happy and productive again. Together in a casual supportive environment, we can work to focus on your strengths and make small changes that will go a long way. Oh, and by the way, the puppy that I regularly bring to the office is part of the therapy.
