How do I confirm a booking?

Promptly confirming a booking helps you easily keep track of which bookings are all set, and which need more attention.

All appointments, regardless of whether you confirm, are expected to be upheld. If you need more information in order to confirm, please contact the patient. Please note that confirming has no bearing on whether the practice will be charged a booking fee.

When should I confirm a booking?

We recommend reviewing bookings quickly, so that you have time to reach out to the patient if you notice issues or require additional information based on what they've submitted. Confirm the booking once you're reviewed the booking and the patient information, visit reasons, and insurance plans look good.

How do I confirm?

All bookings with the "New booking" tag in the Notifications column have not been confirmed. You can also view all unconfirmed bookings by clicking on New bookings from the sidebar on the left.

First, select the booking in Inbox. Then, select Confirm patient can be seen at the bottom of the appointment card. After confirming, the "New booking" tag will be removed. If there are no other updates, the Notifications column will say "You're all caught up!"

All appointments will be automatically removed from Inbox one hour past the appointment time. You can still view all appointments in your calendar.
