Having trouble with your video visit? Check out these tips to try to resolve your issue.
Check your computer
If you have more than one virtual waiting room tab open, close all but one.
Close all other browser tabs and apps.
Check the speed of your internet connection
Do a speed test here.
Both provider and patient need an upload and download speed of at least 2 Mbps to have a good call. If either of your speeds are lower than this, try the following:
Reset your router
Move closer to your router
Connect to your router with an ethernet cable rather than using WiFi
Check your browser permissions

Within Chrome Settings, click on the Privacy and Security tab and open Site Settings.
Confirm that Sites can ask to use your camera is selected.
Confirm that Zocdoc.com is listed as a website under Allowed to use your camera.
If Zocdoc.com is listed under the section Not allowed to use your camera, remove it by clicking on the Trash icon.
If Zocdoc.com is listed under the Allowed to use your camera section, confirm that the Camera dropdown is set to Allow.
Confirm that Zocdoc.com has access to your microphone.
Click into Zocdoc.com in the Allowed to use your camera section.
Confirm that the Microphone dropdown is set to Allow.
If you are using Safari

Open your virtual waiting room in your browser.
Navigate to Safari Preferences and click on the Websites tab.
Click Camera
Select Allow next to Zocdoc.com to have access to your camera
Click Microphone
Select Allow next to Zocdoc.com to have access to your microphone
Check your sound
Try playing a Youtube video to ensure that your sound is working correctly.
If you’re using headphones or an external microphone or camera, make sure they are plugged in correctly.
Optimize your computer
If you’re using a laptop, plug it into AC power.
Restart your computer.
