The default email app on Android phones is the Gmail app. For iPhone, we recommend using the default Mail app, which you can see steps for above.
First, on your computer, open Gmail and add Zocdoc to a new label:
Click on the gears on the top right to open Settings, then click on “See all settings.”
Select “Filters and Blocked Addresses” and then click on “Create a new filter.”
In the From field, add “service@mail6.zocdoc.com.” Click “Create filter.”
Next, check “Apply the label” and then click on “Choose label.” From there, click on “New label” and enter a new label name, such as “Zocdoc appointments.”
Once the label is created, then you can click “Create filter.” Then, you will see your new label, e.g., “Zocdoc appointments,” under Labels on the left hand side of your Gmail inbox.
Then, you can set up phone notifications for your new Zocdoc label:
Open the Gmail app.
At the top, tap the 3-bar menu and then “Settings” at the bottom of the menu.
Select your account, and tap “Manage Labels.”
Tap on your new “Zocdoc appointments” label.
Tap on “Sync Messages” and select a time period.
Tap to check the boxes for “Label notification” and “Notify for every message.”
