Business Operations & Strategy Analyst
Join Zocdoc as a Business Operations and Strategy Analyst! In this crucial role, you will provide analytical and operational support to teams across our business to drive growth and improve efficiency. Our team plays a key role in defining Zocdoc’s strategy, but our strength is transforming that strategy into a detailed, action-oriented plan upon which our business can execute. Our business is expanding quickly, and we’re looking for future leaders.
Business Operations & Strategy Analysts typically contribute to a strategic workstream or functional area while owning key operational processes and analyses.
What You'll Do:
- Problem-solving with individuals at all levels (including executives) across a broad range of departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Finance)
- Analyzing and cleaning data to develop KPIs, visualizations, and insights which allow us to better target resource investments
- Revenue forecasting and budgeting for Sales teams
- Designing, implementing, and administering incentive structures for Sales teams
- Building initiatives to improve productivity like pipeline visibility and insights, go-to-market solutioning, and streamlining/simplifying processes and policies
What’s required:
- 1-3 years of work experience in relevant roles such as business/revenue/sales operations, business intelligence, business analytics, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking
- Extensive experience with and enthusiasm for analytical problem solving
- Examples include: Market sizing, capacity planning, financial forecasting, pricing sensitivity, survey analysis, inventory management, supply/demand, cost/benefit
- Resourcefulness, nimbleness, and the ability to stay positive under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Action-oriented attitude
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for technology and improving patients’ lives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- SQL, Redshift, Tableau, Looker, Salesforce.com, and/or PowerPoint experience is a plus
- Experience defining business requirements for new processes or tools is a plus
