Director of Sales Operations
In the Director, Sales Operations role, you build out a team that will enable our Sales organization to drive and sustain revenue growth. This team will be fundamental to achieving key company initiatives, and you will shape the team’s scope, function, and impact. You will partner with senior sales leadership to build out the new team, metrics, analytics, and processes that will power the growth engine at Zocdoc.
What You'll Do:
- Build out Sales Operations team that will support sales lead enrichment, pipeline management, forecasting, analytics, and innovation functions.
- Develop workflows and processes that support data-driven decisions across the Sales organization.
- Support the development of tools and dashboards that provide critical sales reporting to both team members and leadership.
- Define expectations for team member development by creating career paths and aligning goals with advancement opportunities.
- Partner with Sales leadership to develop metrics which better reflect the health of our customer base and forecast churn and renewal expectations.
- Determine hiring needs, manage team recruitment and make offers for qualified candidates, ensuring the team is well-matched and well-staffed.
- Report to Sales and company leadership on growth forecast, pipeline expectations, and provide data that powers quarterly goals.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to leverage resources and advocate for team needs as the Sales Operations team grows.
What's Required:
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Proven past success building out teams and processes; SaaS experience a plus
- Experience with data analysis and reporting; Salesforce.com experience a plus
- A 4-year college degree
