Manager, Strategic Account Management

In the Manager, Strategic Account Management role, you will lead a team of Strategic Account Managers who are responsible for a critical aspect of our revenue growth and retention. The group you will lead works to develop strategic growth opportunities for our high-value clients. You will partner with senior sales leadership to develop new strategies for a team that is redefining revenue growth at Zocdoc.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategies tailored to client needs, team development, and revenue objectives
  • Develop strategies to drive revenue growth through up-sells, product adoption and reducing churn.
  • Contribute to team members’ development by helping to determine individually focused development goals; create opportunities for advancement towards those goals
  • Identify ways to improve the team’s strategies, cadences and tools and iterate on solutions that make it easier for clients to work with us
  • Determine hiring needs, manage team recruitment and make offers for qualified candidates, ensuring the team is well-matched and well-staffed
  • Maintain pipeline and forecast reports for your team
  • Leverage CRM data to understand team metrics and diagnose areas of improvement and best practices
  • Report to sales leadership regarding team performance, progress toward team goals, and relevant personnel updates
  • Work cross-functionally with other department leaders to advocate for customer needs

Qualifications

  • MUST have a minimum of 2 years directly managing a team of sales reps or account managers
  • Minimum of 2 year of account management or sales experience
  • Proven past success in a consultative selling environment; SaaS experience a plus
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting; Salesforce.com experience a plus
  • A 4-year college degreee
