To start using Zocdoc Video Service, our HIPAA-compliant telehealth solution, log into your Zocdoc account.
Navigate to Home. If you do not see the Home tab on your Zocdoc account, contact our service team to ask to add Zocdoc Video Service to your account.
Click on Manage your product selection at the bottom of the page
Toggle on Video Service and click Save changes
Click Setup next to Select Zocdoc Video Service locations in the “Customize Your Settings” section to define which locations will be using Zocdoc Video Services for their virtual appointments.
If you are adding a new practice location for virtual visits, Click Add location button. If you want to edit an existing location, click on the three dots next to the name of the location and then click View and edit details.
Under location type, select Video visit, and under video visit type, select Zocdoc Video Service.
If you want to receive texts to remind yourself to join the virtual visits, select Set text reminders and add your phone number. Note: This number will receive reminders for all virtual appointments at all of your practice’s locations.
Note: If you're a virtual-only provider without an established practice location, enter your licensed state and leave the address blank when adding a location. While you won't be able to choose a specific location, rest assured you will be eligible to appear in search results for the entire state. If you need more help, contact our Service team.
Each provider in the video visit locations have unique links to their own virtual waiting rooms. Patients who book through Zocdoc will automatically get these links and appointment reminders.
You can start sharing the link to your virtual waiting room with patients who book outside of Zocdoc, too, and let them know that they do not need to download a new app to join their virtual visit. To share your virtual waiting room links, head to the Video Visit tab of your Zocdoc account, click Go to waiting room for the desired provider and either copy the URL or click Send via text below the provider's name and photo.
