Coral Health is an independent, locally owned primary care practice in Dover, Delaware. We're dedicated to providing accessible, personalized healthcare without the frustration of waiting months for an appointment. We're currently welcoming new patients, with appointments typically available within two weeks.
Our experienced team, including family medicine physician Dr. Heydi Gutierrez Sligh and physician assistant Meghan Andrews, provides comprehensive primary care for patients seeking to establish care, manage chronic conditions or address everyday health concerns. Our services include annual physicals, preventive screenings, sick visits, medication management, women's health and ongoing care for conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
As an independent practice, we believe healthcare should feel personal, not rushed or impersonal. We take pride in building lasting relationships with our patients, listening to their concerns and making quality primary care more convenient and accessible.
Coral Health accepts many major insurance plans, including select Medicaid plans, and offers affordable membership options for patients without participating insurance coverage.

She is very informative, kind, patient, and genuinely cares about her patients. I was referred here by someone who shared her positive experience, and everything she told me was exactly what I experienced myself. The overall care was excellent, the medical assistant at the front desk was very welcoming, and everyone provided outstanding customer service. The office was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, home-like atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this practice to others!

This was my first visit at this office and I felt so comfortable. I made the decision to travel from Newark to Dover and I do not regret it. It is so refreshing to not be rushed through an appointment. I was able to ask all of my questions and get them answered. Dr. Sligh is such a wonderful and caring doctor which is very hard to find. She takes the time to explain things to you and ensures that you understand. She is very knowledgeable. She is an awesome doctor!

Dr. Heydi I. Gutierrez is the best doctor I have ever had. At 58 years old, I can honestly say that I have never experienced such an exceptional level of care. She is compassionate, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her patients.
