Novo Behavioral Health PLLC
Ifeoma Alaribe is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, specialising in psychiatric mental health nursing.
Her work in mental health began in 2010 at a psychiatric hospital. Those early years shaped what came next: a decision to advance her education so she could take on more responsibility for the care itself rather than watch it from one step removed.
She founded Novo Behavioral Health on the belief that mental health care should be accessible, respectful, personalised and free from stigma. That means an environment where people feel heard, valued and genuinely involved in decisions about their own treatment, rather than informed of them afterwards.
In practice this comes down to listening properly and looking at the whole person. Sleep, stress, physical health and circumstance are part of the assessment, not context to be skipped over, and the aim of every appointment is that you leave understanding your own care.

I’ve been dealing with depression for over 10 years and have worked with several providers. My experience with Ifeoma Alaribe has been very positive. The medication she prescribed after my first visit has helped improve my mood. While I’m still a work in progress, I feel like I’m finally on the right track and am hopeful that continued therapy will help me keep moving forward.
