Dr. Raghavan graduated from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, with a Summa cum Laude, among the top ten of her class. She describes her approach to dentistry as a comprehensive approach, where she treats the patient as a whole and the mouth as a gateway to their overall health. She believes this enhances the patient’s health, well-being, nutrition and lifestyle. She loves calling herself a family dentist and treats members of all ages in families beginning with oral care for infants to more complex treatments for older family members. Her specific interests are in treating patients with Sleep Apnea, TMJ disorders, Implants, complete rehabilitations with crown and bridges, and also other specialized treatments like Invisalign. She is passionate about saving lives by providing an alternative treatment for patients with sleep disordered breathing, like chronic snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. She believes that dentists with advanced training in managing sleep apnea are poised to recognize early signs and symptoms, to help patients who may otherwise be unaware of this potentially life-threatening disease condition, by collaborating with physicians and other specialists in a timely manner.
Dr. Raghavan has been fully involved with dentistry from the age of 18. She received a Bachelor’s in Dental surgery from India before she went to Kornberg School of Dentistry. She believes that because she was raised in many cultures, including the United States, it has given her a unique and sensitive perspective, while interacting with people with different backgrounds, adding a touch of compassion to her persona. She is also comfortable speaking multiple languages like Hindi and Tamil apart from English. She has also been to South America for mission trips and says it brings her at most joy to give back to the larger community.
