About Dr. Jennilyn Estell McEnroe
Dr. Jennilyn McEnroe was born and raised in central Florida. She went on to receive her dental degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale by scholarship from the United States Air Force. Dr. McEnroe completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Scott Air Force base Illinois. She also completed a 1 year Advanced Clinical Dentistry Preceptorship and is recognized as an Advanced Clinical Dentist.
She served as a dentist in the United States Air Force from 2009-2014. During that time, including a tour overseas, she received many awards and honors including 20th Dental Squadron Company Grade Officer of the year in 2013 and the Air Force Commendation Medal. Dr. McEnroe relocated to the D.C. area in July 2014. She says, “I am very excited to be a part of the Silver Spring community. I am committed to patient satisfaction and delivering quality treatment with your best interest in mind. Integrity is of utmost importance to me.” In her free time she enjoys visiting the historical sites and museums of the area, watching Florida Gator Football and Basketball and spending time with her husband and West Highland terrier Rembrandt.

For the first time ever my Zocdoc appointment was not on their schedule. They could see my appointment on Zocdoc but it was not on the office schedule. Front desk tried to dismiss me after I showed email confirmation and text reminders. Hygienist and Dr. McEnroe went above and beyond to squeeze me in an hour later. Have to return to get additional treatment which would have been completed during my visit if my original appointment time was honored. I will probably schedule directly with office instead of Zocdoc to prevent this from happening again in the future. Overall great office visit as usual!

I have had many dentists that spend time shaming you for not flossing and other dental problems. Dr. McEnroe did not downplay the treatment needs I had, but at the same time she was kind and explained what the problems were in a non-judgmental way.

The dental hygienist Heather and Dr. McEnroe are awesome. They both were very thorough and answered all my questions. I walked in on edge and walked out with a better plan to take care of my teeth. I will never wait 10 years before seeing a dentist again!
