Very knowledgeable and I felt very secure that I would be ok! I was scared but who put that to rest! I would recommend him and his staff highly to friends and family!! My postop experience was where he himself tge Dentist called me the next morning to check on me!!

Dr. Joe Prasifka grew up in Wharton, Texas. He graduated from Southern MethodistUniversityin 1969 with a degree in Chemistry.
In 1974, he received his DDS degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and he has completed multiple courses at the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a Preferred Invisalign Provider and has received training in Lumineers, Oral Conscious Sedation, and Oral Surgery.
After owning a private practice in Wharton for 30 years, Dr. Prasifka decided to retire. A year later he found that he missed working with his staff to provide the highest quality dental care for his patients. With an outgoing personality and a love of dentistry, he has produced many satisfied smiles over the years.
He has been married for over 40 years to his wife, Ada. They still reside in Wharton and have a son and daughter. In his spare time, Dr. Prasifka enjoys golf, exercising at the gym, seeing the latest movies, gardening, and reading.

Dr. Joe was quite pleasant. He came in and looked at my x-rays then explained what needed to be done. I went ahead and had the work done the same day. He walked me through the entire procedure.
I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.
