Laurence Hyacinthe, DMD, better known as Dr. Laurie, is the director of the Pediatric Dental Medicine Residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital. The division of Pediatric Dentistry offers comprehensive oral health care services for infants, children, adolescents and those with special health care needs. Dr. Laurie oversees the division's busy resident clinic and surgical service. She sees patients at Mount Sinai Hospital's Faculty Practice where she provides preventive and a full scope of therapeutic pediatric dental services. After graduating from dental school at McGill University in 2004, she completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by a Pediatric Dental Residency at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Laurie continued her training at Mount Sinai Hospital by completing a 2 year Dental Anesthesiology Residency to offer comprehensive services to her patients.
