About Dr. Nitin Rajput
Nitin Rajput is a dedicated and patient-oriented dentist assisting his patients in Reston, VA. Dr. Rajput’s focus is personalized dental care and a teaching approach to dentistry. Therefore, a new patient's first visit (including paperwork, x-rays, photographs, examination, dental cleaning, and discussion) will typically take 90-120 minutes - varies depending upon your needs! Dr. Rajput is multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, Hindi and Punjabi. He is a member of various local and national-level dental associations, such as the American Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He received the prestigious title of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a title earned by less than 5% of dentists.
Dr. Rajput, an alumnus of Stuyvesant High School in NY, received his education from New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Graduating with honors via an accelerated program, he then attended the New Jersey Dental School. Dr. Rajput has enhanced his dental knowledge with a General Practice Residency, continuing education classes and seminars, which includes Invisalign certification, implant, and cosmetic restorative courses.

I hate going to the dentist. I put it off as long as I possibly can, and I know I shouldn't do that, but sometimes I'm stubborn. I was absolutely dreading this visit as I haven't been to a dentist in years. I filled out all the paperwork before my appointment with Dr. Rajput (there was a lot of it as this was my first visit to this office), and it was very apparent that he actually read through it and came prepared to speak with me based on what I submitted. He was very caring and aware of my sensitivity and he was incredibly kind and thorough in his explanations and descriptions of what was happening in my mouth. It was not good news, but he was kind and understanding and helped me break down the priorities and next steps in a way that felt less overwhelming. I have never had a dentist like this and while I will still dread my visits, I have confidence and trust in his care and attention to my concerns and sensitivities. He also has a sense of humor, which helps ;-)

The experience was absolutely top-notch. The doctor, ancillary staff, and receptionist were all excellent. I honestly have never had such a thorough and excellent experience at a dental office. The exam was thorough and gentle, and the staff took extra care due to my jaw disorder from Ehlers Danlos. The doctor's bedside manner was just excellent and I truly cannot say enough good things. I went for the convenience due to living in Reston and did not know what to expect, and it was a very pleasant and awesome surprise. Beyond impressed. Thank you to everyone there!

Great experience with a brand new dentist. Everyone I interacted with in the office was very polite and friendly, and the space was very clean. Dr. Rajput is extremely knowledgeable and was incredibly helpful in piecing together my dental (and health) history, which really made the conversation around my future treatment much more informed. After seeing a previous dentist for most of my life, I had to make the switch to a new dentist after my insurance changed. Dr. Rajput and his team were cognizant of this and made sure they provided above and beyond attention/care during my appointment. The hygienists are thorough and are great at explaining what to expect, especially if you’re not familiar with some of the newer tech that they’re using.
Both my hygienist (I believe her name was Laura?) and Dr. Rajput noticed some issues with my teeth that we’ll be able to address promptly. They’re very much the type of providers that focus on preventative care, but I was never pressured to make a certain decision about treatment. Overall, I was really happy with my experience and will definitely recommend this office!
