This was the WORST dental experience I have ever had in my life, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Firstly, I was left waiting in the lobby for an hour and fifteen minutes, and only after some prodding from the receptionist (who was the only nice person in that office) a hygienist/assistant came in to take Xrays. I told her several times that she was cutting the inside of my mouth, but she would not listen. I have had multiple Xrays done at other offices and have never had injuries to my mouth. By the time the dentist came in, he had told me that he would not proceed with the procedure because he had other patients waiting on him, which may not have been a problem if he had not been over an hour late to the appointment I scheduled him. As I was in excruciating pain, I agreed to come back later. Of course, when I came back I was left to wait for over an hour again. The same hygenist/assistant took me into the back room and made me sign a paper that stated that the dentist had fully explained the procedure to me, which she had to know wasn’t true because he did not even show up for at least another 30 minutes. When the dentist finally came in, he did not apologize or acknowledge being an hour late. He simply began to numb my mouth with a shot. The most upsetting part of this experience was that he did NOT wait until my mouth was numb, and I told him that CONSTANTLY as he was drilling my tooth and he refused to stop or listen, he only told me I would stop feeling it soon. I have never been in such pain or discomfort during a dental procedure before, and I have had the same procedure done at another office. He was also really rough with me, and several times, would jerk my jaw back and forth without considering the pain he could be causing. He and his assistant argued about her not knowing what the tools he needed looked like or her not cleaning the tools well, which did not make me feel as though I was in good hands. This is not even half of my experience at that office and I could go on and on if this wasn't already long enough. Overall, since my appointment, I have been in the worst pain I have ever felt from a dental procedure, and I think it is because they did not listen to my concerns or the many times I verbally and physically showed that I was in pain. Next time I will be driving further to get the care and service I need.

I won't be using this dentist again, not because of his abilities (he did great work) but because I got too many messages about my appointment s. I scheduled an appointment on a monday for an exam & xrays and another appointment the following Thursday for fillings. I got 14 email/text messages from zocdoc and the dentist's office about these 2 appointments! SO ANNOYING!! Totally turned me off from wanting to continue seeing this dentist. The office staff & doc were nice people but I don't like being harassed.

I asked a lot of questions and Obiora and the team answered them well. They really care at this facility and he put a lot of effort into getting my fillings just right. There have been occasional mixups but the devotion to treating patients right and giving them the top-notch care makes the difference.

I had concerns regarding my procedure and after Dr. Nkwonta explained how he was going to do it, my anxiety was relieved. He continued after a nearly painless shot, and did a fantastic job. He is not just a dentist, but an artist, a councilor and now quickly becoming a friend. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone; particularly those with a fear of dentists.

Was left waiting for over an hour. When they numbed my tooth to pull it, it wasn't completely numb, but they pulled it anyways! I will never see this dentist again, or recommend anyone to him.

I like the doc here, but I'd have a had time recommending him. Didn't feel like a very good job was done, it was also painful and uncomfortable, feel like they miss on all the small things that a dentist can do to make appt bearable, even with prescribed valium it was still a very unpleasant experience

I think the Doctor does not come across as cordial but comes across as robotic. He should explain to the customer what he is doing and be a little more pleasant. His assistant did a very good job, she balanced him out.

Great experience, very helpful staff and very nice dentist. Definitely felt like I was in good hands! Keep in mind it's a small practice, so you may have to wait a bit if they're running behind. It will be worth the wait, so just don't be in too much fo a hurry!
