Dr. Patel and Kevin, who was the office manager, were professional and friendly. The appointment was thorough and yet quick. You get the feeling that both are dedicated to their patients and just the overall dental office. Wonderful visit and I think that's a rarity for especially for dental offices!

I had been going to a Park Ave dentist for 10 years and spent thousands on a back tooth only to understand that I never needed that tooth to begin with because I don't use it to chew. I have had constant inflammation and infection in that tooth area. Dr. Patel showed my in the X-rays that I didn't need that tooth so he extracted without any pain whatsoever. He also respected my wishes to not have antibiotics. So happy that I went to him. He's brilliant!

Dr. Patel is incredibly efficient, fast and provides a very very good service. The fillings I got with him have never had any problems so far and are highly approved by other dentists (I had to switch because of my insurance).
The services are not cheap, but it depends on your insurance, and they might be worth the quality.

This doc is a great guy and a great dentist! Also an honest dentist - he will try to find the best solution, not the most pricey.
I have severe phobia of dentists but he has kind of cured me :-)
And I really like his staff and the music he plays in his office!

The office was slightly unkempt and the tech was old. I came in for an Invisalign consultation and he sparked no confidence in me that that the treatment would go well. He kept saying that Invisalign takes care of everything, or that he's the middleman, that he's very hands off about the entire procedure. Felt very impersonal. On the plus side, they had a massage chair!

I was seen by Dr. Patel. I had booked with this office specifically because I was told that he would be doing my cleaning. When I arrived they told me someone else would see me instead, but when I raised a fuss they acquiesced and had Dr. Patel see me. He was very gentle with the cleaning, a clear communicator, and genuinely seemed to care about my dental health.

My mom, sister and I have been coming to Dr. Patel since he took over the practice a few years ago. I must say, I have NEVER enjoyed going to the dentist. In fact, I've always dreaded going as it was always an uncomfortable, arduous, and most times painful experience for me.
Dr. Patel has changed all that. Not only do I genuinely enjoy watching the years of dental neglect fade away as Dr. Patel and his staff address the sorry state I've left my teeth in, but I actually enjoy the process as well. There's no pain and no stress. The office is always full of life (and great music!) and Patel and his wonderful staff feel like family. Violet, Karen, and Kevin have been there from the start and are a little dental home away from home.
Dr. Patel is thorough, communicative, attentive, and understanding. Although not all insurances are accepted, Dr. Patel will work with you to take care of your most problematic issues. I've had to pay out-of-pocket, but it is WORTH IT for the peace of mind he affords.
I have no doubt that a visit to Patel's office will change any apprehensive feelings about going to the dentist. And you'll have a healthy mouth to boot!

Dr. Patel is very thorough and straight-forward. I've been cavity-free since I started seeing him. Wonderful staff, Kevin and Karen, always make me feel welcome and at ease. Violet is an amazing mean cleaning machine, always feels like I got a brand new set of teeth after she's done with me. I look forward to my bi-annual check ups.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and informative and attentive. Would (and have) gone back. You get the feeling they are really looking after your best interests, as it should be! Everything is designed to be as comfortably as possible. I mean, they even have a massage chair, for goodness sakes... The best.

This was my first dental visit since moving to NYC and it took me a long time to decide on a dentist as I have always had a fear of the dentist. Dr Patel's bedside manner was excellent and made me feel at ease. With an Endodontist working from his office once a month, I was booked in for my root canal straight away and will be back today to get it done. 5 stars for the quick turnaround and getting me back on track with my dental hygiene.

Dr. Patel is amazing! I went to him for a cracked tooth that caused a lot of pain. I was able to make an appointment for Monday (tooth cracked on Friday). He did anything and everything to explain exactly what was going on with the tooth, what he had to do to fix it and all the while making sure I was comfortable and nicely numb! I didn't feel a thing even though there was a good chance if it because of the infection in the tooth (normally he explained he would put me on antibiotics to kill off the infection before the procedure but I'm leaving for Thailand in 2 days). I couldn't be more grateful to him. He is my new dentist for ANYTHING I may need to do in the future. And I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else. Thank you Dr. Patel!!
