Dr. Anvery is a board certified orthodontist. A native of downstate NY, Dr. Anvery went to SUNY New Paltz for her undergraduate studies, where she double majored in cell & molecular biology, and chemistry. She graduated top of her dental class at Howard University in 2019 and went on to earn her certificate in orthodontics and Masters of science degree in orthodontics, at University at Buffalo.
Dr. Anvery has a passion for research, and evidence based practices, which she always incorporates in her clinical work. She has worked on numerous research projects and co-authored several studies, from her time at college, dental school and residency.
Dr. Anvery serves as an orthodontic clinical faculty member at Touro College of Dental Medicine, where she teaches orthodontics, cephalometric analysis, and sleep related breathing disorders.
Dr. Anvery’s goals are to create beautiful and healthy smiles. She believes in custom and precise diagnoses, for individualized care centered around her patients’ needs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Anvery is usually playing pickleball (or tennis or squash), exploring new restaurants, and learning something new.

Most relevant
I waited 40 minutes for an orthodontic consultation. I then talked to the doctor for two minutes and was rushed out of the office because she had a procedure scheduled. I was unable to make a decision if I wanted to move forward with treatment because I didn't have time to ask the doctor all of my questions. After that, I was charged for what I thought was a free consultation.
