Dr. Selina Gutierrez is the proud owner and sole dentist at Inwood Family Dental. Our team truly believe in a high quality, patient-centered dental care experience. We strive to provide excellent care by spending time customizing a patient’s treatment plan and utilizing the highest quality labs and materials. In order to make this possible, Dr. Gutierrez has elected to be an out-of-network provider. Our office can still accept your insurance benefits, and, as a courtesy, will file insurance claims on your behalf. Call us if you have any questions about your coverage.
Dr. Gutiérrez was raised in Laredo, Texas and has lived in San Antonio since 2014. She gained early acceptance into the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2018. She then completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UT Health San Antonio. She was trained in comprehensive restoration of natural teeth, implant surgery, oral and IV moderate sedation, root canal treatments, and complex dental surgeries.
Thereafter, Dr. Gutierrez associated in private practice for 3 1/2 years where she became further skilled in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, Invisalign therapy, and the treatment of sleep apnea and TMJ conditions. She also served as one of the Team Dentists for the San Antonio Spurs and the Rampage Hockey team.
In 2022, Dr. Gutierrez was nominated as a New Dentist of the Year by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. She has served the role of President of the Greater San Antonio Hispanic Dental Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the San Antonio District Dental Society. She is also a member of the San Antonio Women's Chamber of Commerce.
On her free time, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys giving back to the community by providing free dental screenings and treatment at local clinics. She also loves to mentor students aspiring to become dental professionals.

Dr. Gutierrez is excellent dentist. She up to date and in formal with the medication I take. That one side affects to one medication I take effects bone loss. She told me of options to replaceing missing teeth. Her dental hygienist is excellent and informal about doing cleaning and very patience with one. They have updated technology which is a plus.

Best dentist visit I’ve ever had. As an autistic person, doctor visits can be very overwhelming but the safe took great care of me and was clear about every step. I was able to wear noise canceling headphones and sunglasses and take breaks. I highly recommend these lovely people!
