Yoram Kohanzadeh is an energetic and dedicated dentist and orthodontist serving the Huntington Park, Inglewood, and Los Angeles, CA communities. He received his dental degree from the University of California and is a graduate of the Orthodontic program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers University Hospital). He completed a three-year residency, where he worked with special care patients such as those with cleft lips or palates.
Dr. Kohanzadeh provides a full range of dental and orthodontic care from general checkups and cleanings to fillings, to braces, retainer, and Invisalign installment. He uses laser treatments when possible as well as a special pharmaceutical gel that allows for some treatments to be completed without the need for needles and anesthesia. Dr. Kohanzadeh also uses temporary anchorage devices for more complex treatments. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi. He feels being able to communicate with more of his patients enables him to provide more thorough care.
Some of Dr. Kohanzadeh’s hobbies include cooking, hiking, technology, and cars. He volunteers regularly with local dental awareness days in schools and has traveled internationally to provide free care to those in need.
